Marion Stewart, of New Ross, who was 77 years of age three  weeks ago, died Thursday morning at 1 o'clock at his home in New  Ross. He had been ill about two years.Mr. Stewart was born on a  farm near New Ross in Montgomery County November 8, 1868 the son  of James A. and Matilda Powell Stewart. His father was a native  of Indiana and his mother a native of Kentucky. Mr. Stewart's  marriage to Emma Gray took place June 3, 1889. The widow survives  together with their two children, Cecil Stewart, at home and Mrs.  Lula Miller of Indianapolis. Mr. Stewart's parents their three  brother preceded him in death [sic]. Mr. Stewart was a member of  the Christian Church at New Ross. Funeral services will be  conducted from the home in New Ross at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon  with burial in the family lot at Pisgah Cemetery north of New  Ross. The Rev. J. L. Burden, minister of the Christian Church of  New Ross will be in charge of the services.
